Welcome to our new blog!
We’d like to use this introductory installment to thank those of you who have complimented us on our recent website redesign. To say it was overdue would be a vast understatement. Not only was the old site incredibly dated, the stagnation caused it to nearly vanish from many search engines. Imagine our shock when we couldn’t even find ourselves on Google!
Hopefully this revamp will generate more traffic as well as provide a more pleasant and informative viewing experience. However, it is and will continue to be a work in progress. As the two or three “critical responders” have (correctly) pointed out, the site is incomplete in some areas. Those shortcomings will be addressed in the near future, but for now we felt it was important to get our basic information out there in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
For the inquiring nerds (you know who you are), this site is built using a Divi framework by Elegant Themes. And yes – it’s WordPress at its core. And why not? Years ago we used to build our sites the old fashioned way, and they never came close to looking as good as Divi/Wordpress. Plus, we can have a nice blog and several other cool features without tearing out our remaining hair over sketchy coding issues.
So thanks again to those of you who opined on our “new look”. There’s lots more to come, so please check back with us every so often.
